COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY
Lethbridge Soccer Association is committed to developing and fostering an inclusive and diverse environment for all coaches, players, officials, administrators, and spectators who access their programs and activities. By nurturing a diverse environment, the Organization acknowledges differences in gender, education, and background. It acknowledges individuals’ unique life experiences, qualities, and characteristics are fundamental to nurturing an inclusive environment and culture.
An inclusive culture embraces, respects, and values differences in people regardless of gender, age, racial background, aboriginal background, disability, or sexual orientation. All individuals associated with the Organization must acknowledge and agree to abide by this commitment within their thoughts, behaviors, and actions. In support of this commitment Lethbridge Soccer Association has reached out to City of Lethbridge Indigenous Office to support LSA in introducing Land Acknowledgement, and to organize culturally sensitive training for Board, staff and coaches.
