KIDSPORT
"From humble beginnings and big dreams to the National stage and even bigger impact - our story has always been about kids and sport. We began as a program of Sport BC, with a goal to help families overcome the prohibitive cost of sport. Since then we've expanded across Canada, giving tens of thousands of kids each year the opportunity to participate in organized sport. in 25 years nearl 1 million kids have gotten into the game."
JumpStart
"Giving kids the opportunity to access sport and play is essential for their growth and development, which is why Jumpstart funds a variety of different sports and activities all with the goal of giving all kids the chance to discover their passion. It's a chance to boost their self-esteem. A chance to nurture their creativity and help them do better in school. It's a chance to connect them to their communities, so they can be a part of something bigger."
City of Lethbridge Fee Assistance Program
Launched in November 2015, the City of Lethbridge offers a Fee Assistance program for residents who face financial barriers to participating in recreational and cultural opportunities.
